BIOGRAPHY
Pianist, keyboardist and music teacher from France, Alexi began playing piano at the age of five under the influence of his parents, who are both professional musicians. He studied classical music up until he was 14, at which point he developed a strong interest in jazz, pop and rock music. As a piano and/or keyboard player, he performs with several bands specialized in styles such as rock, pop, jazz and groove music. He has also been teaching piano and keyboards and directing instrumental and vocal ensembles for the past seven years.
In 2016, he was awarded a National Teaching Diploma, a Performance Diploma and a Bachelor of Musicology from the “ESM Bourgogne-France-Comté”, a university based in Dijon. With these diplomas Alexi is able to teach popular music in many different kinds of establishments, such as conservatories or any public or private French music schools. Alexi also studied at Berklee College of Music from January to August 2018, declaring a Professional Music Major, where he completed two full-time semesters, scoring a GPA of 4.0 in the spring semester and 3.9 in the summer semester.

In addition to his skills as a modern piano player, Alexi masters many different keyboard techniques, on electric pianos, organs, analog and digital synthesizers. He plays them on stage as well as in studios for recordings. He is also a composer, notably for some of his bands doing original music, as well as an arranger; he can also produce and program music and sounds by using different well-known music production softwares. In the future, he would like not only to progress as a stage musician and a music teacher but also to come back and study at Berklee, in order to discover and improve his film scoring techniques, which is a natural progression from the styles of his musical creations and his interest in cinematic music. Alexi is also passionate about Japanese animation and film, and hopes to create music for animes, hopefully through an internship in an animation or video games company in the United States, France or Japan.
